career last week. instead, he'll be discussing details in the deadly attack on the u.s. consulate in benghazi, libya that resulted in the death of christopher stevens and three others. also, the controversy over u.n. ambassador susan rice calling the assault spontaneous in september reached a boiling point. yesterday president obama and his first news conference since re-election exploded at republicans finger pointing over rice. >> if senator mccain and senator graham and others want to go after somebody, they should go after me. but for them to go after the u.n. ambassador who had nothing to do with benghazi and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence she had received and besmir much her reputation is outrageous. >> earlier, senators mccain and graham slammed rice vowing to stop her rumored nomination as former republican presidential nominee mitt romney was on a conference call when he said that president obama defeated him by giving things to blacks, hispanics, and young voters. >> what the president's campaign did was focus on certain members of his base coalition, give them extraordinary financial gifts from the government and then work very aggressively to turn

e-mail from an account called kelly patrol. sources close to kelley warned the zwroen stay away from her, she could ruin him. general allen say pim close to jill kelley forwarded it to her on the account she shares with her husband scott thinking she sent it as a joke. sources say she told general allen she did not send it but was concerned she was being stalked or electronically hacked because the e-mail referred to a meeting that she and allen scheduled in washington for the following week. nomination. his fellow texan congressman ron paul gave part one of the farewell speech as he prepares to retire at year's end. >> sadly, many religious groups, secular organizations and psychopathic authoritarians endorse government initiated force to change the world. >> national journal reports wisconsin congressman and former vp hopeful paul ryan will remain house budget committee chairman in june people close to kelley say she and her husband received four different embarrass from different accounts saying jill she is up to no good, asking her husband, do you know what your wife is up to when she has dinner with general petraeus. she turned over all the e-mails to an fib agent she knew, never realizing the impact they would have. people close to the kelleys say that she never had an affair to general allen and they found no evidence to the contrary. after being granted a gop waiver to avoid being term limited out of that spot. senate majority leader harry reid lashed out at massachusetts senator scott brown mocking brown's calls for bipartisanship as a joke, describing brown as one of the most partisan senators ever to serve. we now know which political office may be sought by another member of the bush family, george p. bush. his father, former florida governor jeb bush, confirms in a letter to potential donors that

but there was enough inappropriate language to launch an investigation. >> general allen is doing an excellent job at isaf in leading the forces. he certainly has my continued confidence to lead our forces and to continue the fight. >> reporter: the fbi continues looking through documents they took monday night from broadwell's home. but so far have found no evidence of anything highly classified. the pentagon suspended broadwell's security clearances and macdill air force base his son is considering a run for texas land commissioner. that birth removement didn't work out so well. now conservative group decided to ramp things up using robo calls to rally for president obama's impeachment barely a week after his re-election. >> our only recourse now is to move forward with the full impeachment of president obama. we suspect that obama is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors and is laying ground for impeachment as laid out in the revoked jill kelley's pass to the base. overseas now, fears of a new war in the middle east are on the rise after israelis took out the top military commander of hamas in a ferocious attack yesterday. and just this morning the first israeli fatalities of the renewed conflict, three people killed in rocket fire from the gaza strip. martin fletcher is live with the latest on this. martin, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, lynn. israel's army warned of constitution. finally, nate silver might be going hollywood. dangerous days ahead. difficult days ahead. and they're already difficult enough. today israel is continuing its attacks on gaza, still targeting hamas militant leaders and in particular over the last 12, 16 hours attacking stockpiles of long range rockets that hamas has been building up in gaza. that's what israel says this is tack is all about. stopping hamas from the ability to attack israel with the rockets. they say they destroyed many of the long range rockets which can quarter. the wider eu avoided the same fate thanks mostly to last summer's olympics boost. back on the street yesterday, selling picked up after president obama's media briefing about the upcoming tax cut negotiates. and today we'll see what impact the fed has. chief ben bernanke speaks this afternoon. also on deck, before the bell earnings from walmart and target. retail sales dropped in october after three months of gains. later today, bp is expected to announce it will pay the largest target cities as far north as tel aviv. there is one report from gaza that the palestinians had fired a rocket at tel aviv but there is no confirmation of that. there was no news of it landing. one missile did get to the anti-rocket defense system and killed three israelis who apparently did not obey instructions to seek shelter but were looking at the action from their balcony. the army is telling everybody in penalty in history to settle criminal and other claims from the 2010 gulf oil disaster. new york state's attorney general has subpoenaed documents related to sandy related prep and procedure from both con-edison and long island power authority. the fda says over the past four years five-hour energy shots have been cited in the deaths of 13 people. this after last month's news tying monster energy drinks to five fatalities. pizza chain poppa johns is under fire after allegedly
